(https://www.penspen.com)   Main Purpose of Role: The Senior Electrical Engineer (offshore) may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. The Senior Electrical Engineer may have engineer grade electrical personnel under his responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. The Senior Electrical Engineer may work under the supervision of a Lead Electrical Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Senior Electrical Engineer may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. Responsibilities: Day to day control of FEED/EPC electrical engineers in preparation of calculations, cable sizing, loads, SLDs, switch gear and interfaces, power system automation etc. Provide timely comments on FEED/EPC deliverables and ensure their implementation. Oversee the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting systems. Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards and regulations Review and approve electrical load calculations and system analysis. Review and approve electrical engineering drawings and specifications. offshore experience is a must.  Knowledge / Experience (Skills): At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Electrical engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable. Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial. Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory. Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
