Position Overview
- Specialty: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
- Contract Type: Travel / Locum Tenens
- Schedule: Night shifts available
- Setting: Acute care hospital – Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit
Clinical Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
- Track vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans
- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Support unit staff and contribute to overall patient care coordination

This is a high-acuity telemetry setting supporting patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and specialized nursing care.

What We’re Looking For
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Connecticut or compact eligible)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 2–5 years of telemetry or progressive care experience
Certifications:
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- PCCN preferred
Core Skills:
- Strong telemetry interpretation and clinical assessment
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Ability to manage multiple patients in a high-demand setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
