Job Description
- Dispense medications accurately and safely in line with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide expert advice to customers on prescriptions and healthcare queries.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently and complies with all regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and manage orders to maintain availability of essential medicines.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Support health promotion initiatives within the local community.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and legal compliance.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure a high standard of practice.
- 45 hours per week full time basis.
The Successful Applicant
A successful pharmacist should have:
- Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- A strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining professional knowledge and skills.
