<p>Are you an experienced <strong>Site Manager</strong> with a background in <strong>social housing refurbishment or retrofit schemes</strong>? This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected <strong>main contractor</strong> delivering high-quality, sustainable projects as part of the <strong>Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF)</strong> initiative.</p>
<p><em><strong>The Role</strong></em></p>
<p>You’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of SHDF works across occupied social housing properties — ensuring quality, safety, and programme are maintained to the highest standards. This includes managing trades, subcontractors, and liaising closely with residents, clients, and project teams to deliver energy-efficiency upgrades efficiently and with minimal disruption.</p>
<p><em><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></em></p>
<ul>

<p>Oversee site operations on SHDF / retrofit projects (EWI, insulation, windows, roofing, heating systems etc.)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure health & safety compliance and quality assurance across all works</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage subcontractors, materials, and logistics to meet programme targets</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain clear communication with residents and client representatives</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Report progress and resolve issues promptly to keep the project on track</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><em><strong>About You</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Proven experience managing <strong>social housing refurbishment or energy retrofit projects</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong working knowledge of SHDF standards and PAS2035 compliance desirable</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent people management and communication skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications essential</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Full UK driving licence</p>
</li>
