We are currently looking for an Experienced Java Software Engineer to join an international engineering team supporting multiple avionics product lines.
Responsibilities
- Develop software using modern programming techniques, tools, languages and agile methodologies
- Perform software design, development, integration and testing activities
- Contribute to project execution planning and achievement of operational goals
- Support continuous improvement of software engineering processes, quality, safety and reliability
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, peers and team members to understand requirements and expectations
- Contribute to building a positive team culture and motivation
Requirements (must-have)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, data science or computer science
- English proficiency
Nice to have
- Willingness to learn and work with new technologies
- Strong design and systems thinking skills
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience in developing web services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Experience in containerization (Docker, OCI)
- Experience in avionics or complex electronics software development
- Experience working in international and multi-national projects
