About the Role
Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for an ICT Innovation Support. This resource will be working Remotely.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support exploration of emerging technologies, including the exploration, assessment, and application of emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Extended Reality (XR), immersive solutions, and IoT enabled systems.
• Define, implement, and maintain a Design System Strategy supporting innovative solutions including web, mobile, 3D visualization, Digital Twins, immersive (AR/XR), and IoT enabled applications.
• Develop, document, and apply SOPs for UX/UI and visualization, aligned with applicable UN policies, branding guidelines, and governance frameworks.
• Establish and enforce visualization standards for symbology, iconography, color, typography, scale dependent visualization, and accessibility across platforms.
• Support the consistent application and harmonization of design systems and visualization practices across projects and solutions.
• Design, prototype, and support UX/UI components for innovative solutions including web, mobile, and immersive applications, applying user centered design methodologies.
• Contribute to the design, prototyping, and visualization of 2D/3D applications and Digital Twin solutions, including integration with sensor based or real time data sources.
• Support the visualization and user experience of IoT data, including dashboards, real time views, and contextual integration within digital applications and Digital Twins.
• Produce mock ups, wireframes, and prototypes to support application development, Digital Twin use cases, IoT pilots, and innovation initiatives.
• Communicate user journeys, interaction models, and interface concepts to development and technical teams.
• Define and apply Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QC/QA) procedures and perform quality control reviews to ensure deliverables comply with approved standards, SOPs, and functional requirements.
• Ensure visual quality, usability, and consistency across digital applications, Digital Twins, XR, and IoT enabled solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design systems, visualization standards, and quality processes.
• Support documentation, knowledge sharing, and outreach activities related to innovation initiatives and digital solutions.
• Perform other innovation related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, geospatial science, digital media, graphic/design disciplines, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in ICT Innovation Support, digital solutions, or related areas.
• Demonstrated experience supporting ICT innovation initiatives involving digital or emerging technologies.
• Solid knowledge of UX/UI design principles and user centered design methodologies.
• Experience applying design systems to ensure UI consistency (layouts, symbology, branding).
• Familiarity with 3D Digital Twin concepts and 2D/3D visualization.
• Experience in defining or applying design systems, visualization standards, SOPs, and QC/QA processes for digital, geospatial, or data driven applications
• Experience supporting or visualizing IoT enabled solutions, including sensor based or real time data.
• Ability to produce mock ups, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Desirable Skills:
• Hands on experience with AR/XR platforms or immersive environments.
• Practical knowledge of 3D modeling or advanced visualization tools.
• Proficiency with UX/UI design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience designing or supporting IoT dashboards or real time data visualizations.
• Experience supporting innovation pilots, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), or experimentation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, or iterative product development environments.
