Job Description
- Analyse client requirements to develop tailored warehouse solutions.
- Create process flow designs and operational models for warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of proposed solutions.
- Utilise data analysis tools to optimise logistics processes and reduce costs.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate proposed designs to stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in logistics operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Solutions Design Engineer should have:
- Strong knowledge of logistics and warehousing operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and process optimisation tools.
- Experience with AutoCAD OR CLASS is advantageous
- Ability to create and interpret process flow designs and operational models.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations and team collaboration.
- Problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to work.
- A relevant educational background in logistics, engineering, or a related field.
