You will play a pivotal role in the firm, leading a modern and talented tax team and managing a portfolio of key clients. This position offers a strong mix of advisory and compliance work, with significant exposure to complex tax matters and business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality advisory services.
• Work closely with Tax Partners to provide strategic tax planning solutions to clients.
• Lead and mentor the corporate tax team, conducting appraisals and fostering professional development.
• Develop strong client relationships through regular contact and participation in client meetings.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated solutions to businesses.
• Contribute to business development efforts, helping to grow the firm’s tax practice.
• Stay informed on changing tax regulations and ensure best practices within the firm.

What We’re Looking For: 

• Honed leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, and appraisals.
• A collaborative, client-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset to support the firm’s growth.
• CTA qualified with ACA or ACCA, or the equivalent qualification with several years of corporate tax experience in practice.
• Experience managing a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, with exposure to advisory work.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax laws and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
