About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Leader for our UI/UX Team with a path to joining our executive team; As the Leader and Head of UX, you will have a significant impact on both the products we build and the processes we use to design them. The process aspect is crucial, as we utilize various tools, including our own design system, to scale design efforts and ensure consistency across projects. You will lead a team of three experienced UX Designers, each with their unique skills, strengths, and areas for improvement. Your role will be to support their growth and help them achieve their ambitious goals. A key part of your responsibilities will be promoting our work by collaborating with the marketing team to showcase project highlights through our own case studies and external platforms like Behance or Dribbble. As Head of UX, you will also manage Design Sprint Workshops, where we assist clients in turning their visions from concept to reality. These workshops typically consist of 5–8 sessions spread over 4–6 weeks, guiding clients through the design process from 0 to 1; In your role, we will support you in actively building the recognition of our brand by taking part in various conferences and meetups; You will also take part in our experiments with the low/no-code platforms and visual interfaces for crafting digital products that don’t require actual development. CORE Responsibilities Project delivery: Collaborate with clients: Use different Design Thinking techniques to facilitate the knowledge transfer from the client’s team; Lead the project design: work directly on the projects in Figma or other tools and collaborate with clients on crafting the product that matches their expectations, meets technical requirements, and satisfies the user needs;  Cooperate with Product Owners: you will work in tandem with the Product Owners on the product vision, its roadmap, and further implementation; Work with the development team: the true power of our team comes from the combination of product, design, and technical expertise; in your position, you will often work with developers and tech experts and use their guidance to craft intuitive and beautiful designs. Team management: Knowledge Sharing: Foster a collaborative environment for product knowledge sharing across projects, promoting best practices and efficiency. Team Management: Lead and develop the analyst team, optimizing processes, tools, and methodologies for efficient and effective analysis. Talent Development: Mentor and train existing analysts, supporting their professional growth. Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new analysts, ensuring a seamless transition and effective knowledge transfer. Assisting/Support Role: Sales Support: Collaborate with sales to define project scope and ensure alignment with product vision and strategic objectives; R&D Collaboration: Ensure successful development and implementation of new OSS initiatives and automation tools that can optimize the product development process. Requirements: Proven experience as a Lead Designer/ Head of Design/ Head of UX, or similar role in a software development company; Passion for innovation and a drive to deliver exceptional user experiences; Experience in adopting design thinking techniques; Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into product specifications; Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences; Experience in building and leading high-performing product teams; Fluency in English.
