Private Client Solicitor

<p>Permanent<br /> Up to £50,000</p> <p>My client is an established and well-respected law firm with offices in Guildford and London offering a range of legal services. They are seeking a qualified Private Client Solicitor 2- 4 years + PQE.</p> <p>This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of private client matters while developing strong client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the department. You will work with a broad client base, providing high-quality, pragmatic advice with appropriate supervision and support from senior colleagues.</p> <p>Core work includes:<br /> o Drafting Wills (including more complex Wills)<br /> o Estate administration (taxable and non-taxable estates)<br /> o Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)<br /> o Trust administration and basic trust drafting<br /> o Inheritance Tax planning and advice<br /> • Advising clients with sensitivity and professionalism on often complex or emotive matters<br /> • Running files independently from instruction to completion, subject to supervision where appropriate<br /> • Attending client meetings and building long-term client relationships<br /> • Ensuring compliance with SRA rules, firm policies, and risk management procedures<br /> • Maintaining accurate file management, billing, and time recording<br /> • Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate<br /> • Contributing to business development, networking, and client care initiatives</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be conscientious, self-motivated, hardworking and responsive along with excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills. You will be able to work to strict deadlines and timetables, whilst maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.</p> <p>Competitive salary and benefits.
