<p><strong>Job Title: Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst</strong><br /><strong>Ref: AM115</strong><br /><strong>Location: Writtle, Chelmsford</strong><br /><strong>Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 (DOE)</strong></p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and well-structured laboratory based in Writtle, Chelmsford. The company is expanding due to a sustained increase in workload and is looking to appoint a Bulk Laboratory Analyst to support their busy asbestos lab.</p>
<p>Alongside asbestos analysis, the business also operates a microbiology laboratory, offering genuine opportunities for long-term development and cross-training.</p>

<p><strong>Duties for the role of Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst include:</strong><br />* Analyse bulk asbestos samples in line with UKAS procedures<br />* Accurately record, review, and report test results<br />* Maintain laboratory quality standards and housekeeping<br />* Ensure all work complies with HSE, UKAS, and internal procedures<br />* Support the wider laboratory team during busy periods</p>
<p><strong>Skills and experience for the role of Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst:</strong><br />* Approximately 1 year’s experience in a bulk laboratory role<br />* BOHS P401 qualification (or working towards)<br />* Strong attention to detail and accuracy<br />* Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment<br />* Good organisational and communication skills</p>
