JOB INFO:

Part time role, for the 2026/27 academic year initially

Term time only (Sep - Mar) approximately 5 hours per week

Salary by negotiation

Most delivery will take place at the Northumberland Club in Jesmond

Responsiibilities:

To lead engaging, high quality group coaching sessions to Newcastle University Tennis Club’s BUCS squad

To run trials, pick squads and ranking orders for teams

To attend key home BUCS fixtures to provide coaching support and identify areas of improvement

To deliver targeted individual/pairs/small group coaching sessions to supplement the larger squad sessions

Qualifications:

LTA Coach (Level 3) qualification or above with accredited + status Ideally the successful candidate should be a current or ex-tennis player of a good standard, with experience developing young players at a performance level
