Job DetailsRole: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (with Personal Care) Year Group: Year 1 Location: TF5 Start Date: Immediate or following notice Contract: Full‑time, ongoing Agency: Smile Education About the Role As the school’s One‑to‑One TA, your responsibilities will include: Providing personalised support to a Year 1 pupil with additional needs Assisting with personal care routines in a respectful, discreet and supportive manner Supporting the pupil’s learning through tailored activities and interventions Helping to develop communication, confidence, and independence Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment This role is ideal for someone who is caring, patient, and committed to helping a child thrive both academically and emotionally.
