- Responsible for designing, building, and operating a scalable platform that ensures Coach content is synchronized, validated, and continuously monitored across the ecosystem.
- CBOT addresses challenges related to missing, inconsistent, or outdated content by providing centralized content synchronization, automated validation, proactive monitoring, and improved visibility into content synchronization health.
- Manage XML-driven systems that are critical to the Coach content landscape, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of XML-based platforms supporting content synchronization and validation.
- Platform reliability, infrastructure automation, deployment management, and cloud operations rather than UI development or content authoring.
- Operate, maintain, and support XML-based platforms used for content synchronization and validation.
- Automate system configuration, deployment processes, and operational activities.
- Design, build, and maintain Linux-based packaging and deployment solutions.
- Support and manage cloud infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, infrastructure, and XML pipeline-related issues.
- Contribute to monitoring, alerting, system stability, and operational readiness initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and DevOps best practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with XQuery and XPath.
- Solid experience working with XML databases such as MarkLogic, BaseX, or eXist-db.
- Strong understanding of XML data modeling, transformation, and querying.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting XML-driven applications and platforms.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
- Strong scripting skills using Bash/Shell scripting.
- Experience creating, managing, and maintaining RPM packages.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and infrastructure.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in DevOps or Platform Engineering environments.
- Working knowledge of Java applications, including runtime behavior, configuration, deployment, and operational support.
- Experience supporting XML processing, integration platforms, or middleware environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and production support best practices.
