Do you want to play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a secondary school?Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Hillingdon seeking a Student Services Officer with First Aid qualifications to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of the school, supporting both students and staff while helping to maintain a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment.Student Services Officer - Role OverviewAs a Student Services Officer, you will be central to the daily operations of the school, ensuring that students, staff, and visitors are supported effectively. Your responsibilities will include:Acting as the first point of contact for students, parents, and staffManaging attendance records and monitoring student punctualitySupporting safeguarding and pastoral processes, including liaising with key staffMaintaining accurate student records and filing systemsAssisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and communicationsSupporting student welfare and guiding students to appropriate support servicesCoordinating reception duties and creating a welcoming front-of-house environmentProviding first aid when required (First Aid certification essential)Working closely with pastoral and administrative teams to ensure smooth operationsRequirementsCurrent First Aid qualification (essential)Previous experience in an administrative or student support role (desirable but not essential)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyProfessional, approachable, and calm under pressureAbility to handle confidential information with discretionEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What's on OfferA supportive and well-resourced secondary school in HillingdonFull-time role: Monday to Friday, term-time onlyA key position at the centre of school operationsOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesPotential for a long-term or permanent positionHow to ApplyIf you are organised, proactive, First Aid trained, and ready to make a real difference in a secondary school setting from September 2026, we would love to hear from you.For more information, please contact Elizabeth Topley at elizabeth.topley@twrecruitment.com or call 0207 845 5450 (option 3).
