About the Role

<p>Anderson Knight is excited to be recruiting an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join a legal firm’s brand-new office in South Lanarkshire.</p> <p>This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team, where you’ll play a key role in supporting a busy conveyancing function. Candidates must have experience working within Scottish conveyancing and a solid understanding of Scottish property law.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Property Transaction Support: Assist with the full lifecycle of residential and commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.</li> <li>Document Preparation: Draft and review legal documentation such as contracts, title deeds, and leases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.</li> <li>Client &amp; Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties, providing clear and timely updates throughout the process.</li> <li>File &amp; Case Management: Maintain well-organised and accurate client files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and key deadlines are met.</li> <li>Land Registration: Support with Land Register applications and ensure all submissions comply with current registration requirements.</li> <li>Financial &amp; Transactional Support: Assist with completion statements, client accounts, and other financial elements of conveyancing transactions.</li> <li>Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and drafting correspondence for solicitors.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal or property-focused environment.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of Scottish conveyancing and property law.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.</li> <li>High level of attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.</li> <li>Clear opportunities for career progression within a growing and ambitious team.</li> <li>A supportive and collaborative working environment.</li> <li>Ongoing training and professional development.</li> <li>Early finish on Fridays.</li> </ul> <p>If you’re a motivated individual with a passion for property law and are looking to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
