<p><strong>QC Lead (Aerospace Machining)</strong></p>

<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong> We are in need of a proactive <strong>Quality Control Lead</strong> to lead the inspection team at an esteemed aerospace precision machining plant in Chino. In this role, you will oversee department operations, coordinate schedules, and conduct technical inspections. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in a machine shop setting and be well-versed in the strict quality requirements of top-tier aerospace manufacturers.</p>
<p><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>Supervisory Duties:</strong> Manage inspection staff, organize work schedules, and report performance data to management.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Hands-on Inspections:</strong> Conduct First Article (FAIR), In-Process, and Final inspections on intricate precision-machined components.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Compliance Checks:</strong> Evaluate AS9102 reports and assist in internal and external audits.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>System Monitoring:</strong> Establish and track KPIs to assess the effectiveness of the quality control system.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Process Improvement:</strong> Investigate non-compliance issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective measures.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>Work Experience:</strong> Minimum of 6 years of recent inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Technical Proficiency:</strong> Skilled in interpreting blueprints and applying advanced GD&T principles.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Aerospace Expertise:</strong> Thorough understanding of AS9100D QMS and experience in generating and managing AS9102 documentation.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Metrology Tools:</strong> Hands-on familiarity with CMM, FARO Arm, and metrology software like PC-DMIS or Verisurf.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Software Knowledge:</strong> Comfortable using ERP systems (e.g., JobBOSS), CAD software (preferably CATIA V5), and MS Office 365.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Industry Insight:</strong> Knowledge of prominent aerospace standards such as BAC, BMS, BDS, and MIL specs.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is mandatory.</p>
</li>
