About the Role
Experienced Optical Assistant – Monday to Friday, Doncaster, South Yorkshire<br><br> An Optical Domiciliary Company, is looking to recruit a full time experienced Optical Assistant, to work Monday to Friday, visiting Nursing and Care homes within Doncaster and surrounding areas assisting the Optometrist with sight tests<br> <br> The role <br> Visiting Nursing and Care Homes<br> Assisting the Optometrist<br> Carrying out full dispenses at all levels<br> Carrying out aftercare and fittings<br> Administrative duties<br> This is a Monday to Friday role, no weekends<br> <br> Ideal candidate<br> <br> Confident with at least 2 years experience within optics<br> Good clinical knowledge with excellent dispensing skills<br> Have empathy and a sympathetic approach as most patients will be elderly and some will have dementia<br> Keen team player<br> Experienced driver with at least 2 years<br> Enjoy driving and being out on the road<br> <br> In return you will receive a very competitive salary plus good bonus potential and a fully expensed company car.
