Through industry -leading R&D and committed partnerships, we innovate the nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life. <br><br>The Safety/Sanitation Supervisor participates in design, development, & implementation of facility safety, health, & environmental programs & procedures to safeguard employees and ensure the facility is compliant with Land O’Lakes EH&S standards and all Federal, State, & Local safety/environmental regulations. <br>Conducts safety and environmental audits and validations of buildings, facilities, tools and equipment.<br>Determines safety training requirements and provides employees with safety training applicable to their work processes per company EH&S standards (training, regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and employee engagement). <br>Perform ergonomics assessments and corrective actions.<br>Assists Maintenance Manager with ISN contractor safety management. <br>Implement/own certain elements such as training, contractor safety, hot work, emergency response, and others as directed.<br>Investigates accidents and promotes safety-conscious work performance and training programs. <br>Provides safety performance measures.<br>Determines root cause analyses. Other environmental-related responsibilities.<br>Manage facility sanitation program to ensure compliance and that sanitation standards are being met.<br>Manage inventory of safety, sanitation supplies<br>Align with Maintenance on Facility regulatory inspections/PMs<br>Assist in vendor selection and management related to MRO, safety, and sanitation supplies.<br><br>Required Experience/Education: <br>High School Diploma<br>Bachelor's Degree (preferred)<br>3+ years’ experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment<br>EHS experience in manufacturing environment.<br>An EHS degreed program would be considered in lieu of the experience requirements.<br><br>Required Competencies/Skills: <br>Must possess strong leadership skills, problem solving skills, and decision-making skills.<br>Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills at various levels of the company.<br>Strong computer skills, including usage of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.<br>Effective communication skills for working cross-functionally in a fast-paced work environment. <br><br>Travel: Less than 10% per year<br>Hours: This role may require some off-shift hours, weekends or holidays.<br>Salary: $70,800 - $106,200<br>In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Grade:</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>E7
