Cover Supervisor - KS3 & KS4 - Halifax

About the Role:

Justteachers is recruiting a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor for short-term supply opportunities in a secondary school in Halifax. This welcoming school caters for pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 and is committed to creating a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their best. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure pupils remain engaged with learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Provide support and guidance to pupils during lesson activities.
• Report on pupil behaviour, progress and lesson outcomes to teaching staff.

Pre-requisites:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.
