In this role you will also play a key role in the reporting and analysis of consolidated Dairy manufacturing results across all locations to the VP of Manufacturing. This role requires a blend of financial expertise, analytical capabilities, and presentation skills to communicate in a concise and informative manner to assist leaders with decision-making.<br><br>This role is located at our Arden Hills, MN Corporate headquarters in office each week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. <br><br>Key Responsibilities Include:<br>Serve as Plant Controller for Hillsboro, WI butter manufacturing facility.<br><br>Provide analysis of key plant performance metrics, sharing insights with plant operations leadership of performance trends.<br><br>Ensure policy compliance with monthly tracking and analysis of raw material and finished good shrink to provide leadership insights.<br><br>Prepare the annual business plan and forecasts for the plant operating departments. <br><br>Conduct month-end responsibilities including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and management reports.<br><br>Prepare and assess fixed asset capital requests.<br><br>Consolidate total DF MFG results across all 10 plants, including preparing Director and VP level report out presentations<br><br>Represent finance on network wide initiatives, including capital improvement, sustainability projects, and reporting enhancements<br><br>Key responsibilities with annual business plan, forecasting, and risk and opportunity generation within the DF MFG portfolio<br><br>Travel to Hillsboro WI facility one day per month.<br><br><br><br>Experience & Education:<br>Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.<br><br>A minimum of 4 to 6 years’ related work experience required.<br><br>Experience with Fixed Assets and Month End closing preferred.<br><br>Must have a strong aptitude for numbers, be well organized, and be able to demonstrate proficient computer skills in Excel (advanced skills), Word, PowerPoint, JDE and other ERP systems.<br><br>Sound understanding of GAAP.<br><br><br>Competencies-Skills:<br>Highly detail oriented and organized with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.<br><br>Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.<br><br>Effectively communicates and collaborates with all levels of the organization.<br><br><br><br>$81,200-$121,800.
