<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a meticulous professional to conduct necessary surface prep, material blending, coating application, and refining processes on produced goods. This position emphasizes achieving uniform, top-quality outcomes while strictly adhering to safety guidelines, quality benchmarks, and production demands.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>· Operate specialized equipment like pressured and gravity-fed sprayers, mixers, solvent retrieval systems, lift tables, air hoists, and non-sparking hand tools to facilitate efficient coating tasks.</p>
<p>· Determine and blend exact amounts of coatings, varnishes, solvents, and thinners using customary formulas and established protocols.</p>
<p>· Inspect pieces for surface flaws such as rust, fractures, tone inconsistencies, or unpainted sections and make necessary equipment adjustments for precise application.</p>
<p>· Assess completed surfaces for adequate coverage, paint flow, color precision, thickness, and viscosity.</p>
<p>· Carry out cleaning and maintenance on coating booths, mixing zones, filters, and spray equipment in compliance with manufacturer and regulatory directives; training is included.</p>
<p>· Maintain precise time and production logs while examining schedules to achieve job completion goals.</p>
<p>· Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary teams to address coating problems, propose process enhancements, and optimize efficiency, quality, equipment effectiveness, and expense management.</p>
<p>· Actively uphold quality systems, environmental health and safety policies, core principles, and 5S organization standards within the division.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p>· High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of relevant experience/training, or an equivalent mix.</p>
<p>· Ability to understand simple directives, write basic messages, and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group environments.</p>
<p>· Proficient basic arithmetic skills including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.</p>
<p>· Strong practical reasoning to execute detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables.</p>
<p>· No certifications or licenses needed.</p>
<p><strong>Work Environment & Physical Demands</strong></p>
<p>The position involves regular exposure to vapors or suspended particles, moderate to loud noises, and seasonal high temperatures. Employees must be capable of standing for extended periods, reaching, handling tools, and regularly lifting heavy items.
