About the role:
Justteachers is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bradford from September 2026. This is a full-time position within a Reception class, covering the entire 2026/27 academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years specialist or a passionate primary teacher looking to make a positive impact during a crucial stage of children’s development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning through play and exploration.
- Monitoring, assessing, and tracking pupil progress, ensuring all children receive appropriate support and challenge.
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Contributing to school life and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within EYFS or Key Stage 1.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Justteachers.
