The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting high-performance applications, while also mentoring teams and ensuring high-quality, defect-free delivery in production environments. Key Responsibilities Development & Architecture - Design and develop scalable, high-performance full stack applications using Java and modern frameworks - Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices architectures - Work extensively on NoSQL platforms (OpenSearch, Solr, Coherence) for large-scale data processing - Develop frontend components using Angular - Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of enterprise applications Platform & Data Engineering - Support and optimize enterprise NoSQL platforms such as Coherence, OpenSearch, and Solr - Work with Apache Spark for distributed data processing - Implement and manage enterprise caching solutions (Coherence, Apache Ignite, Redis) - Design solutions for data indexing, search optimization, and high-throughput systems Integration & Messaging - Develop and maintain integrations using Kafka and messaging systems - Build scalable systems leveraging event-driven architecture - Work with AWS and Azure SDKs for cloud-based integrations Code Quality & Leadership - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices - Mentor junior developers and guide them toward high-quality deliverables - Drive a culture of “first-time-right” and zero production defects - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment Required Skills Core Technologies - Strong expertise in Java 8/17 and J2EE fundamentals - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot - Strong working knowledge of Linux (Intermediate level) - Expertise in REST APIs and microservices architecture Search & NoSQL Technologies - Deep experience with OpenSearch, Solr, and Coherence - Strong knowledge of NoSQL database design and management Big Data & Caching - Experience with Apache Spark - Hands-on experience with Coherence, Apache Ignite, or Redis Messaging & Cloud - Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms - Basic experience with AWS SDK and Azure SDK Frontend - Hands-on experience with Angular Good to Have Skills - Experience with Graph databases, Cassandra, or MongoDB - Familiarity with Docker and containerization - Exposure to IoT or ETL tools Desired Candidate Profile - Expert in Core Java/J2EE fundamentals - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience with Web Services or JMS is a plus - Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills - Strong expertise in NoSQL database management - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies - Proven ability to mentor teams and lead by example - Strong track record of delivering high-quality, defect-free production releases
