<h1><span>Assistant Estimator</span></h1><p><span><strong>NEO Property Solutions (Part of PTSG)</strong></span></p><p><span>📍 <strong>Location:</strong> Cross Green Industrial Estate, Leeds</span><br><span>🕗 <strong>Hours:</strong> Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 | Friday 08:00–16:30</span><br><span>🏢 <strong>Office Based</strong></span><br><span>💰 <strong>Salary:</strong> Up to <strong>£35,000</strong> per annum</span></p><h2><span>Join NEO Property Solutions</span></h2><p><span>At NEO Property Solutions, part of PTSG, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of Passive Fire Protection projects across housing, healthcare, education and major commercial frameworks.</span></p><p><span>Working at the heart of our commercial and operational teams, you'll influence pricing, manage variations, support project delivery and contribute directly to commercial performance. This is a varied, fast-paced role offering genuine responsibility and opportunities to develop within a growing, industry-leading business.</span></p><h2><span>The Role</span></h2><p><span>As an Assistant Estimator, you'll be responsible for supporting the commercial management of projects from pricing through to completion, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and excellent client service.</span></p><h3><span>Key Responsibilities</span></h3><ul><li><p><span>Pricing works using SOR schedules and first principles where required</span></p></li><li><p><span>Preparing, costing and securing approval for contract variations</span></p></li><li><p><span>Producing monthly valuations and helping to minimise Work in Progress (WIP)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Updating client portals with completed works</span></p></li><li><p><span>Reconciling works management systems and reviewing contract costs</span></p></li><li><p><span>Attending client progress meetings, both in person and via Microsoft Teams</span></p></li><li><p><span>Working closely with Operations to support the smooth delivery of projects</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assisting with commercial reporting and maintaining accurate project records</span></p></li></ul><h2><span>About You</span></h2><p><span>We're looking for someone who is commercially aware, organised and enjoys working in a busy environment.</span></p><p><span>You'll ideally have:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Experience within Passive Fire Protection or a related construction sector</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in estimating or quantity surveying, whether at Assistant level or with more established experience</span></p></li><li><p><span>Confidence managing pricing, valuations and contract variations</span></p></li><li><p><span>The ability to prioritise changing workloads while maintaining attention to detail</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with clients and internal teams</span></p></li></ul><p><span>A relevant degree is desirable but not essential.
