About the Role
Contract Systems Engineer - Defence/SATCOM + Long term project + Hybrid working model in Hampshire + SC Cleared position + £55 to £70 per hour dependant on experience Location: Portsmouth (Hybrid) Contract: Inside IR35 We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support the delivery of advanced military satellite communications (SATCOM) systems for a leading defence programme. Working across the full systems engineering lifecycle, you'll collaborate with software, IT and engineering teams to define, design, integrate and validate complex communications solutions supporting land, sea and air operations. Key Experience Systems Engineering across the full lifecycle Requirements capture and management Systems architecture and design Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) Stakeholder management Complex IT, networking or communications systems Defence or military environments desirable SATCOM experience highly advantageous Essential Degree-qualified engineer or equivalent experience Eligible for UK Security Clearance If you're a Systems Engineer with a background in defence, secure communications, networking or complex IT systems, we'd like to hear from you.
