About the Role

<p><strong>Property Manager needed in Ipswich Paying  £24.96 per hr ref 1738609</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p> <p> Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Create and implement the property group plan for the preventive maintenance and development of the organisation’s property portfolio.</li> <li>Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.</li> <li>Maintain a comprehensive property register, identifying stations and workplaces requiring works to meet health and safety standards and environmental objectives.</li> <li>Contribute to effective partnership working to improve service quality, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.</li> <li>Ensure all property operations comply with legal requirements, technical standards, and industry best practice.</li> <li>Provide strong management leadership and support across the property function.</li> <li>Support delivery of group and organisational objectives in line with organisational values and codes of ethics.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with managers across departments to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to all workstreams.</li> <li>Attend organisational meetings and represent the property function as required.</li> <li>Manage property-related budgets, determine resource requirements, and make recommendations for expenditure in line with departmental business plans.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership working with key stakeholders and service providers.</li> <li>Ensure management information systems provide accurate and relevant reporting to support informed strategic decision-making.</li> <li>Continually review workstreams, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement agreed changes to enhance service delivery.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and regulations across the property portfolio.</li> <li>Manage payment of business rates, utilities, and associated property costs.</li> <li>Manage tenant relationships and oversee invoicing processes to recover expenditure and maximise revenue return.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
