About the role: Justteachers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join a supportive setting in the Leeds area on a long-term basis. This full-time position is due to start in September , with shortlisting currently underway. The organisation is committed to providing high-quality support in a safe and nurturing environment, helping individuals to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills. Key Responsibilities: • Providing day-to-day support tailored to the individual needs of service users • Promoting independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes through person-centred support • Building positive and trusting relationships with individuals, families and professionals • Maintaining accurate records and working in line with safeguarding and care policies Pre-requisites: • Relevant qualifications in health and social care, childcare, youth work or support work • Previous experience working in a support worker, care worker or similar role • A good understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing and person-centred support practices • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive professional relationships • Two professional references, ideally from care, support or education-based settings If you are interested in this role, please apply via the form below.
