My name is Mila Peckmann, and my journey at UNITY began in 2021 with an internship. It quickly became clear to me that I wanted to stay. After two years as an assistant for the healthcare business units, I now work as an executive assistant.

In my day-to-day work, I’m constantly faced with new topics and challenges. I help manage internal projects, assist with preparing workshops and meetings, and work closely with the executive team. I find the variety of topics particularly exciting, as well as the opportunity to witness strategic decisions and UNITY’s continued development up close. This gives me insights into a wide range of perspectives and issues, and I learn something new every day.

For me, what makes UNITY special is the sense of community. Over the years, colleagues have become friends. Whether at KWT sessions, company events, company runs, or after-work activities—we enjoy spending time together. It is precisely this blend of professional collaboration and personal connection that defines UNITY for me.

When I’m not on the road for UNITY, I love spending time with friends and family. I enjoy traveling and am almost always up for sports activities. For example, earlier this year I traveled to South Africa with friends. Otherwise, you’ll often find me outdoors—running, cycling, or horseback riding—and on vacation, I enjoy hiking, surfing, or skiing.
