A welcoming primary school in Bristol is looking for a reliable and practical Caretaker to help keep the school site safe, tidy, and running smoothly after the school day ends.

The role You’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the school site, helping ensure the environment remains safe, clean and well cared for.
Your responsibilities will include: • Locking up school buildings and the site each evening • Carrying out basic maintenance and small repairs around the school • General site upkeep, keeping outdoor and indoor areas tidy and safe • Supporting with routine health and safety checks • Responding to any minor maintenance issues that arise during the day

You’ll ideally have: • Basic maintenance or DIY skills • The ability to work independently and manage daily tasks • A reliable and proactive approach • A friendly, professional manner when working around staff and pupils
A DBS check will be required for this role.
The details • Hours: Monday to Friday, 12.15pm – 6.15pm • Pay: £13.75 per hour PAYE, plus holiday pay • Start date: After the Easter holidays • Contract: Expected to run until at least the end of the academic year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
