The Quality Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in driving a culture of quality, consistency, and continuous improvement throughout the organisation. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position provides visible, proactive leadership and holds overall responsibility for Quality performance, including compliance, audits, supplier quality, production support, and the effective operation of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Essential Requirements of the Quality Manager
Demonstrated experience in Quality Management within an engineering or manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO17025. Proven leadership capability, alongside well-developed continuous improvement (CI) and audit expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Able to adopt a flexible, collaborative leadership approach
Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity and changing priorities
Fosters a positive and constructive team culture
Promotes shared accountability for quality and supports continuous learning
Desirable Requirements of the Quality Manager
Engineering degree; experience in production engineering, calibration systems or supplier development.
