<h2>Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic</h2><hr /><h2>Position Overview</h2>We are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to support component-level maintenance in a backshop environment. This role involves the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of aircraft components in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, and company procedures.This is a great opportunity for mechanics who excel in precision component work and are committed to delivering safe, airworthy products in a team-focused environment.<hr /><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, reassemble, and test aircraft components in accordance with Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and approved technical data</li><li>Perform maintenance using FAA-approved data and ensure all work meets high standards of quality and workmanship</li><li>Maintain a strong focus on safety of flight, ensuring all components meet airworthiness standards</li><li>Accurately complete maintenance documentation, work orders, and inspection records in compliance with company, customer, and FAA requirements</li><li>Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment</li><li>Utilize proper tools and calibrated equipment for each task, ensuring all tooling is in serviceable condition</li><li>Interpret and apply technical manuals, schematics, and engineering documentation</li><li>Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage, chemical handling, fall protection, and awareness of engine and propeller hazards</li><li>Perform basic surface preparation and painting of aircraft components, including adherence to paint application and safety procedures</li><li>Support additional duties as assigned by the Component Shop Lead Mechanic</li></ul><hr /><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Minimum 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience</li><li>Experience working in a component shop or backshop environment</li><li>Strong understanding of aircraft systems and component-level repair processes</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation</li><li>Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail</li></ul><hr /><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Experience with hydraulics, landing gear, and other aircraft components</li><li>Familiarity with component overhaul and repair procedures</li><li>A&P License is a plus, but not required</li></ul><hr /><h2>Why Join Us?</h2><ul><li>Work in a team-oriented, culture-driven environment that values collaboration and respect</li><li>Strong emphasis on safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement</li><li>Opportunity to build expertise in component-level aircraft maintenance</li><li>Supportive leadership and a family-oriented workplace culture</li></ul><hr /><h2>Work Environment</h2><ul><li>Work is performed in a hangar-based component shop environment</li><li>Day shift schedule, with overtime opportunities available</li><li>Fast-paced, team-driven setting focused on delivering high-quality, airworthy components</li></ul><hr /><h2>How to Apply</h2>If interested, reach out directly to:Robert – 843/972/1990Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mobile, AL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
