About the Role
An award winning hospital in Northern Idaho is excited to hire a new Neurohospitalist to partner alongside their other inpatient Neurologist, and an overall team of 7 Neurologists, 4 PAs, and 1 APRN in a community known as an outdoor paradise.<br><br>The 350+ bed Level II Trauma Center sees a diverse patient population across the panhandle of Idaho, and from eastern Washington and western Montana. Currently an Idaho TSE level 2 designated Stroke Center, and working toward DNV primary stroke center designation in 2025, the system has been consistently ranked as one of the best places to work in the state.<br><br>Neurohospitalist Role Highlights:<br>• Consult-only, 7-on/7-off schedule<br>• Non-burdensome night call during on-weeks<br>• Patients seen by a well established hospitalist team overnight<br>• Even mix of Stroke and General Inpatient consults<br>• Stroke fellowship ideal, but not required<br>• Support for Interventional Neurology alongside a Stroke/General inpatient role<br>• Neurointensivists could also work alongside the robust Intensivist team<br>• Epic EMR<br>• H-1B visa support available<br>• Competitive salary, relocation assistance, CME reimbursement, malpractice insurance<br>• Research support, if interested
