Accounts Payable Assistant | Guildford

We’re working with a well-established, growing business in Guildford who are looking to bring in an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant on a permanent basis.

This is a busy, varied role where you’ll be right in the thick of things, working across multiple entities, currencies, and time zones, so there’s plenty going on and no shortage of pace.

It’s a great opportunity if you enjoy taking ownership of your work. You’ll be trusted with the day-to-day AP function, supported by a solid finance team, and given the space to really get stuck in and make improvements as you go.

What you’ll be doing:

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Running weekly and monthly payment runs across multiple currencies
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries quickly
• Maintaining the AP ledger and issuing remittances
• Supporting month-end close, audit queries, and wider finance projects

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger
• Confident user of Excel and finance systems
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage volume and deadlines
• Organised, proactive, and a strong communicator

The details:

• Location: Guildford
• Hybrid: 2 days in office (after probation)
• Salary: £30,000–£34,000
• Immediate interviews available
