About the Role
Senior Associate – Property Disputes | Manchester | c.£80k–£90k + Bonus/Benefits
High-value, specialist work in a genuinely niche area, a steady pipeline from major landlords and investors, and the chance to step into a visible role within a growing Manchester team. Add to that a strong bonus, private medical, enhanced family benefits and a genuinely flexible hybrid set-up, and it’s a well-rounded package.
You’ll be joining a well-established property disputes group with a strong national reputation, acting on complex leasehold enfranchisement matters across large estates, developers, investors and tenants. The work is technical but commercial, with a clear focus on outcomes rather than process.
The role centres on lease extensions, collective enfranchisement and right to manage claims, alongside wider advisory work around landlord and tenant strategy, development schemes and evolving legislation. You’ll run your own matters, lead on negotiations and play a key part in building client relationships.
There’s also a broader piece here - supporting the continued growth of the team, contributing to BD, and helping develop more junior lawyers. It’s a good platform for someone who wants progression without unnecessary hierarchy.
Who suits this? Someone with solid enfranchisement experience who enjoys the detail but also wants more autonomy, client exposure and a clearer path forward.
If it sounds like something worth exploring, happy to talk it through.
