Job description: We are recruiting for a 3- 4 years PQE Contentious Probate Solicitor to join our client; a newly established practice, on a permanent basis from their Manchester office.

Varied duties to include:

-       Managing a contentious probate caseload (training provided where you haven’t handled this directly)

-       Handling matters from initial vetting through to trial to include advocacy

-       Contesting the validity of Will’s

-       Dealing with claims under the 1975 Inheritance (for Dependants) Act and maladministration

-       Disputes over estate administration and Trusts

-       Handling capacity challenges

No business development is required in this role. This position is suited to someone who wants to join an organisation that is looking to expand with the potential option for equity in the future.

Previous experience within contentious probate is not essential as they will train the right person, however previous litigation experience is essential.

Salary:  £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Hours per Week: 35
