About the role:
Justteachers are seeking a knowledgeable Engineering Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education college in Wisbech from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lecturer or industry professional looking to inspire the next generation of engineers while delivering engaging and practical lessons across a range of engineering subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Engineering programmes.
- Prepare and teach engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
- Assess, monitor and track student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to learners.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Pre-requisites:
- Experience teaching Engineering within Further Education, Apprenticeships, or Training environments.
- Two education or school based references.
- A relevant Engineering qualification (Level 3 and above).
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong industry knowledge across engineering disciplines.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for supporting and developing learners.
