About the Role
As Digital Marketing Assistant, you will support the planning, creation and delivery of digital content across social media, email and web platforms. You will help increase brand awareness, generate leads and promote memberships, events and services.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating engaging digital content including graphics, images, videos and reels
Assisting with planning and scheduling social media content
Supporting the creation and distribution of email newsletters and campaigns
Monitoring and responding to social media interactions
Updating website content and supporting basic SEO activity
Assisting with paid digital advertising campaigns
Compiling weekly and monthly performance reports using LMS, CRM and analytics tools
Supporting corporate membership outreach and promotional campaigns
Working collaboratively across departments to improve the customer journey
You will also contribute to reporting on sales, retention, conversions and campaign performance, helping turn insight into action.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience using social media platforms and creating digital content
Has experience (or interest in developing experience) in website management and graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Has strong written communication skills suited to digital audiences
Understands how to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers
Can follow brand guidelines and agreed processes
Is confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly
Works well as part of a team
Is well organised with excellent attention to detail
Is willing to learn and develop professionally
Experience within a leisure, customer service or membership-based environment would be advantageous.
A marketing-related degree is desirable. GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths are required, or relevant equivalent experience.
