About the Role

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Pharmaceutical Production Technician for a temp-to-hire in Indianapolis, IN. Pay:$30.00 to $32.00/hour  Shift: 7 am - 7:30 pm = 2 days on 2 days off and every other weekend Summary: This role supports bulk processing operations in a strictly controlled GMP manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to grow into increasing levels of responsibility. Essential Job Functions: Follow and comply with all GMP policies and procedures. Perform area sanitization in formulation rooms, staging areas, dispensing rooms, and airlocks. Conduct filter integrity testing. Clean and maintain manufacturing equipment and vessels. Perform raw material dispensing (weighing) and bulk formulation processes. Execute preventive maintenance (PM) procedures. Support aseptic operations, including sterile filtration, autoclave unloading, and steam-in-place processes. Assist with production schedule activities as directed by supervision. Work independently with minimal supervision once trained. Provide training, guidance, and leadership to junior technicians (Tech I & II). Supervise manufacturing activities and ensure production goals are met. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (QC, QA, materials, etc.). Conduct nonconformance investigations (QTS) and implement corrective actions. Place purchase orders and monitor inventory levels. Perform final batch record review prior to QA submission. Participate in required hazardous waste training and maintain compliance. Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred. Minimum 5+ years of GMP experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharma, biotech, or diagnostics). Experience in bulk formulation and processing. Ability to read, understand, and follow batch records and SOPs. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Basic math skills for manufacturing calculations. Leadership experience (training or supervising others). Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a physically active environment (standing, bending, lifting, etc.).
