Lead Data Engineer (GCP / PySpark)

Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for: Lead Data Engineer (GCP / PySpark) RESPONSIBILITIES: Acting as a technical lead / leading contributor in the Data Engineering area Organizing and structuring the team's work Removing day to day technical and process blockers Supporting the team in technical and architectural decision making Active communication with stakeholders and progress reporting Contribution to the migration of the data platform to GCP   REQUIREMENTS: Experience in a Senior / Lead Data Engineer role Hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Strong knowledge of PySpark Experience in data engineering projects in a cloud environment Participation in data platform migrations (including migrations between technologies/environments) Knowledge of or experience in the following areas: CloudOps / DevOps, automation, CI/CD, reliability, observability (nice to have) Excellent communication skills – critical for this role English at minimum B2+ / C1 level (UK based client)
