About the Role

With over 50 years’ industry experience, my client is a leader in advanced solutions for tomorrow’s technologies. The company’s portfolio spans interconnect, sensors, communications, photonics, imaging, magnetic components, power supplies, and embedded computing.

As the Technical Sales Manager (Embedded), you are responsible for managing key accounts in Medical, Transportation, Marine, Agricultural Technology, Industrial, Aerospace and Defence markets. Additionally, the employee would build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, promote the sales of Franchised products to new and existing customers, develop and execute the business unit strategic sales objectives, provide a consultative technical solution to meet the customer needs, strategically position the company value proposition to key accounts, develop customer relationships and manage accounts in target vertical markets, negotiate various types of contracts, preparation of proposal, and build and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.

What we would like from the Technical Sales Manager (Embedded):

  • Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline (such as electronics, computer, aerospace, telecom) or Commercial
  • Knowledge of embedded computing and display solutions
  • Knowledge of the embedded computing and customers, with a successful track record of selling embedded computing platforms, Boards & Systems, Display/Monitor and Panel PC, Edge Computing, IoT and AI
  • Selling Products requiring design and manufacture
  • Selling cutting-edge embedded systems such as embedded computing platforms, 19” racks, cabinets, rugged enclosures and power supplies
  • Sales Management experience
  • Customer and supplier relationship management experience
  • Aptitude for commercial awareness
  • Valid driving licence
  • UK passport holder due to MOD contracts

  • Salary up to ÂŁ65,000 doe
  • Fully remote role (Nationwide)
