Construction Manager Construction Manager Back to list Apply Ingenierie 49258 United States, West Virginia, Ravenswood Remote Position:  No October 8th, 2025 Internship:  No Apprenticeship:  No   Job Summary: The primary goal of this position is to lead and direct all aspects of construction phases to successfully complete the work defined for each project to satisfy project requirements while applying technical competence in disciplines that focus on environmental, health, and safety (EHS), quality, risk management, cost, and schedule. Provide effective construction management and support to effectively execute projects that impact operational efficiency, asset availability, and capital expenditure. This position has potential to support all areas within the facility. Responsibilities: Direct and manage all aspects of installation and maintenance work for assigned projects and maintenance outages including safety, risk, quality, procurement, communication, stakeholder engagement, resource, and scope change management with the support of a team. Lead pre-construction planning/reviews and provide constructability input during design phases and reviews. Provide field support during all phases of project and outage development. Provide miscellaneous technical support for plant maintenance activities Provide technical guidance and direction in the analysis and resolution of complex project challenges Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication. Periodic discipline specific guidance and support for plant maintenance and operations Support of system maintenance, advancement and improvement initiatives Provide mentorship and guidance to team members Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, required Associate’s degree in related field or completion of Apprenticeship program, preferred Extensive background in construction activities, required 10+ years of experience managing maintenance and construction craft labor, preferred Ability to adapt to a new industrial environment, required Effective communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences, preferred Ability to lead and/or take direction in a team environment Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, required Must be well organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, required Dimensions: This role will be located in Ravenswood, within the Central Engineering group and support the Production (Casting, Plate, Hot Line, & Coil) units within the facility. Assist with large-scale projects with significant budgets that could range from less than $1M to greater than $50M, affecting strategic initiatives and organizational performance. Requires strategic thinking and innovation; develops strategic guidelines and solutions for complex, undefined problems. Aligning projects with strategic goals, managing high-risk projects, influencing stakeholders, and driving innovation. Communication skills for internal personnel consisting of: Department personnel including Project Managers/Engineers, Designers, Cost Manager All levels of upper Management All Production Management All Plant Support Groups Communication skills for external personnel consisting of: 3rd party engineering and construction companies Equipment Suppliers and Vendors An office position with frequent field requirements Travel may be required both domestically and internationally for acceptance of equipment/tasks for assigned projects Job Specifics: In-depth understanding of project integration principles and safety protocols. Basic knowledge of discipline and industry standards including relevant NPFA, IEC, IEE, ASME, etc. Basic understanding of electrical distribution systems including low, medium, and high voltages. In-depth understanding of technical drawings and diagrams Working understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic systems Basic understanding of CMMS systems (SAP is preferred) Working knowledge of complex data collection/acquisition systems and requirements. Understanding of machinery specifications and procedures
