<h3>Finance Administrator</h3><div><p><span><strong>Location: Coventry</strong></span></p><p><span><strong>💰 Package: Competitive Salary+ Health Shield + Pension + Benefits</strong></span></p></div><div><h4><span><strong>About the Role</strong></span></h4></div><div><p>We are looking for a highly organised and detail‑focused Finance Administrator to support the financial administration activities within our E‑Mobility Business Unit. You will play a key role in delivering a consistent and efficient service to employees, customers and suppliers, ensuring all financial processes run smoothly and to the highest standard.</p></div><div><hr></div><h4><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h4><h5><strong>Finance &amp; Projects</strong></h5><ul><li><p>Create and maintain customer and vendor accounts for the Business Unit.</p></li><li><p>Raise GRNs and process purchase invoices using our accounts‑payable automation system integrated with SAP, ensuring CIS and DRV compliance where required.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and distribute sales invoices.</p></li><li><p>Process weekly timesheets in support of the Central Payroll team.</p></li><li><p>Set up new projects in the finance system, including loading budgets.</p></li><li><p>Provide debtor support as needed.</p></li></ul><h5><strong>Control &amp; Reporting</strong></h5><ul><li><p>Ensure all financial data and transactions are accurate, timely, and aligned with Vinci processes and general accounting rules.</p></li><li><p>Support year‑end audit activities by supplying required information.</p></li><li><p>Compile data and complete the Business Unit’s quarterly environmental reporting (eVE).</p></li><li><p>Maintain compliance with the company’s Internal Control Manual and all relevant procedures.</p></li></ul><h5><strong>General Administration</strong></h5><ul><li><p>Provide absence cover for the Business Unit Administrator when required.</p></li></ul><div><div><hr></div><h4><span>Person specification</span></h4><h5><strong>Essential Skills &amp; Experience</strong></h5><ul><li><p>Strong administrative background, ideally within finance.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.</p></li><li><p>Friendly, approachable and able to build trust‑based relationships.</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment.</p></li><li><p>Proactive problem‑solver with a positive approach.</p></li><li><p>Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.</p></li><li><p>Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.</p></li><li><p>Grade 4/C or Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent).</p></li></ul><h5><strong>Desirable Experience</strong></h5><ul><li><p>SAP</p></li><li><p>Accounts payable scanning software</p></li><li><p>Constructionline / Builders Profile</p></li><li><p>Working within a project‑based environment</p></li></ul><div><hr></div></div><p><strong>About us.</strong><span>Actemium M&amp;E, part of the VINCI Energies group, delivers safe, sustainable, and innovative Mechanical &amp; Electrical (M&amp;E) engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors.
