We are currently recruiting Flexible Teaching Assistants to support a range of schools in and around Ilminster and Taunton.
About the Role:
As a Flexible Teaching Assistant, you’ll work across a variety of school settings, supporting students in lessons and helping to create a positive learning environment. This could involve working 1:1 with individual pupils or supporting small groups, particularly those who may need additional help with behaviour or emotional regulation.
Each day can be different, giving you the chance to build experience across multiple schools and develop a broad skill set in education.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive engagement
• Helping students with additional needs, including SEMH and behavioural challenges
• Working alongside teachers and school staff to support learning
• Adapting quickly to new school environments and routines
• Providing general classroom and pastoral support
