Controls Engineer

A mission-critical facilities engineering firm providing comprehensive automation and controls design services for data center infrastructure. The firm specializes in building management systems, energy performance optimization, advanced cooling controls, and monitoring integration for hyperscale operators, colocation providers, enterprise data centers, and AI computing facilities.

The Controls Engineer will design and program building automation systems for data centers, develop control strategies for cooling and power infrastructure, and integrate monitoring platforms across mission-critical facilities. Responsibilities include BMS programming, alarm configuration, system commissioning, and providing operational support including trend analysis, optimization recommendations, troubleshooting assistance, and software updates.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field BACnet or Niagara certification preferred 3-8 years of controls engineering experience in data centers Proficiency in Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, or Schneider Electric Strong understanding of HVAC controls and automation protocols Experience with DCIM integration and monitoring platforms Excellent programming and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with liquid cooling controls and AI infrastructure Knowledge of energy optimization and PUE reduction strategies Python or scripting experience with API integration
