Summary Job Description: OB Surgical Tech, Labor and Delivery Unit About Labor and Delivery: Labor and Delivery is a high risk specialized unit that provides care to pregnant individuals prior to and during labor, childbirth, and the immediate postpartum period. This unit has 17 private birthing suites, 5 Triage/PACU beds, 4 OR Rooms, 3 bed Obstetric Emergency Department care, and a specialized Antepartum unit that provides care for women with high-risk pregnancies and post-partum diagnoses needing supportive care. Shift: Full-time, Nights Job Description: -Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direction of the registered nurse. -Performs scrub functions and other roles, which support the perioperative plan of care. -Assures the provision of comfort, safety and quality perioperative care for the patient.
