About the Role
As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with an experienced Senior System Expert and gradually take on technical responsibility, with a clear development path toward becoming a System Engineer.
Contribute to system planning and technical design of secondary systems for power and energy installations (distribution networks, high- and medium-voltage systems, frequency converters, rotating machinery, protection and control systems)
Prepare, maintain, and review system architectures, functional descriptions, and requirements documentation
Support system design activities including structural diagrams, technical specifications, interface definitions, and safety concepts
Create and update technical documentation (system overviews, functional sequences, data and signal flow diagrams, plant documentation)
Analyze customer requirements and translate them into structured technical solutions
Coordinate with engineering teams, project management, customers, and suppliers
Gradually assume increasing system responsibility, progressing toward the role of System Engineer / System Architect
Your Qualifications
Completed technical training or degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
Strong interest in system engineering, system architecture, and complex technical environments
Initial experience in planning, technical documentation, or project environments is an advantage
Basic knowledge of or willingness to learn about power networks, smart grids, protection and control systems, or requirements engineering
Structured and analytical working style with a system-level mindset
Ability to clearly document and communicate technical matters within interdisciplinary teams
Fluent in German; English is an advantage
