Our client is a Local Authority in the heart of the East Midlands (easily accessible from the M1).

They need a Planning Enforcement Officer with previous Local Authority experience who is able to take on a caseload and manage end to end.

Your key duties will be investigating alleged breaches of planning control, including carrying out site inspections and evidence gathering. You will be prepare enforcement notices and reports for legal proceedings where necessary.

On a regular basis you will be required to liaise with developers, residents, legal teams, and other stakeholders in an effort to support the Council in reducing planning-related risks and ensuring compliance with national and local planning policy.

The role will run for 3-9 months and will pay at least £35/hr (inside IR35).

Standard working week is 37 hours. You will be required in the office 1 day per week.
