The Management Accountant  Role

We are seeking an ambitious, technically confident Management Accountant to join the friendly and professional Leatherhead team of a successful international advisory group, renowned for delivering expert financial and outsourcing solutions. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality accounting and outsourcing services to a diverse portfolio of UK and international clients. This position would suit a candidate from a practice background.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant

• Prepare management accounts for UK and multinational entities
• Produce annual accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders
• Handle multi-currency accounting for overseas clients
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
• Provide ongoing accounting and financial support to clients
• Manage your own portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships

About You

You will be a motivated accounting professional with strong technical skills and a proactive approach to client service.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience gained in a UK firm of Accountants is essential
• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA or ACCA (study support available)
• Proven experience in management accounts preparation
• Competent in statutory accounts and VAT returns
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• A team player with excellent time management and attention to detail
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
