A large healthcare system in Massachusetts is currently seeking an additional child neurologist to join its faculty. They are dedicated to developing the pediatrics department to meet the patient demand of the community in Western Massachusetts while keeping the focus on quality patient care. Through the School of Medicine, someone who considers themselves a clinician-educator will be a good fit as part of the focus is expanding their involvement in medical education.
Children’s Hospital Highlights:
- 107- bed Children’s Hospital (45 inpatient, 7 PICU, 55 NICU)
- Region’s only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, PICU and Level III NICU
- 24-hour pediatric ED
- 501(c)(3) – PSLF eligible
- Home to Medical School campus
- Pediatrics residency program with 10 residents per year (including a pediatrics-neurology resident) along with a Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine fellowship and a combined Medicine-Pediatrics residency program with 8 residents per year.
Faculty Position Highlights:
- Support for subspecialty focus, especially headache and epilepsy, within a general child neurology practice, though those with most any subspecialty interests are encouraged to apply
- Opportunities for teaching medical students, pediatric residents and fellows, and adult neurology residents (starting 2028)
